1. Wikimedia Bangladesh ("WMBD") recognizes the importance of campus ambassadors in promoting Wikimedia projects and fostering collaboration with educational institutions.

2. Campus ambassadors play a crucial role in engaging students and educators in Wikimedia activities and initiatives.

3. It is essential to establish guidelines and criteria for campus ambassadors to ensure their effectiveness and adherence to WMBD's mission and values.

Therefore, be it resolved:

4. Campus Ambassador Role:

a. Campus ambassadors are appointed representatives of Wikimedia Bangladesh tasked with promoting Wikimedia projects, organizing events, and fostering collaboration with educational institutions.

b. They serve as advocates for Wikimedia initiatives within their respective campuses and communities.

5. Selection Criteria:

a. Campus ambassadors must be active Wikimedians with a passion for promoting open knowledge.

b. They must be enrolled as students at educational institutions.

c. Selection will be based on an application process and may involve interviews or assessments.

6. Responsibilities:

a. Campus ambassadors are expected to organize and facilitate activities such as meetups, edit-a-thons, workshops, and photowalks on a regular basis.

b. They must maintain regular communication with Wikimedia Bangladesh and provide updates on their activities.

c. Ambassadors are encouraged to collaborate with faculty members and student organizations to integrate Wikimedia projects into the curriculum and campus life.

7. Termination of Ambassadorship:

a. Campus ambassadorship will be terminated if the ambassador is no longer a student at the institution they represent.

b. If an ambassador fails to organize any activity (meetup, edit-a-thon, workshop, photowalk, etc.) for more than six (6) consecutive months without valid reasons, their ambassadorship may be terminated.

8. Conduct and Performance:

a. Campus ambassadors are expected to adhere to Wikimedia's principles of neutrality, accuracy, and respect for copyright.

b. They must conduct themselves professionally and ethically in all interactions.

c. Performance evaluations may be conducted periodically, and ambassadors failing to meet expectations may be subject to removal.

9. Communication and Support:

a. Wikimedia Bangladesh will provide training, resources, and support to campus ambassadors to help them fulfill their roles effectively.

b. Ambassadors are encouraged to actively participate in Wikimedia Bangladesh's nation-wide programs and events.

10. Recognition:

Campus ambassadors will be recognized for their contributions through certificates of appreciation, acknowledgment on WMBD's website and social media channels, and opportunities for further engagement.
